RM explained his ability to speak english obtained from the frequent he watched the American series, 'Friends'. He also explained that his mother often forced him to watch an English-language television series.
In addition to discussing about the English language ability of RM, other BTS members also discussed about their fans who were given the nickname 'ARMY'.
"Have you been with the ARMY?" asked Ellen who used the word hooked up that could mean dating.
"We're doing it right now," RM said while pointing his eyes toward the studio audience.
Not satisfied with the RM's answer, Ellen was immediately nudged the translator to explain what she meant by the word hooked up it. When the members are notified by the translator, V immediately answer it.
"Not, Not, No," he said, which then greeted the audience's laughter. (allkpop)
