BTS (again) proved their popularity by winning a number of awards at the '2019 MTV Millennium Awards' event. |

BTS won the Explosion K-Pop award, defeated a number of other K-Pop groups such as BLACKPINK, GOT7, EXO, iKON, Red Velvet, Super Junior, and TWICE.
In addition, one of the BTS members, Jungkook, won the 'Best Worldwide Instagrammer' award without even having an Instagram account.

Jungkook successfully defeated a number of other nominated candidates such as Ariana Grande, Billie Eillish, Shawn Mendes, and Marshmello.
